World Health Day 7 April 2016 This year, World Health Day on April 7 was dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes. Globally, 422 million adults live with diabetes. In Australia, 1.2 million Australians live with diabetes. An estimated 500,000 Australians have silent, undiagnosed type 2 diabetes. World Health Day 2016 aimed to raise awareness about the seriousness of diabetes.
