Omnipod users in Australia are being advised to put their DASH Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM) on airplane mode, following reports of battery depletion.

Insulet is aware of, and closely monitoring, customer feedback regarding instances where the Omnipod DASH庐 PDM battery is draining quickly.

On 9 November 2024 Insulet sent out advice to Omipod users to take the following action to address the issue. This action does not affect the function of the Omnipod DASH庐 PDM: 

Activate Airplane Mode on your PDM in accordance with the User Guide.

How to turn Airplane Mode on:

1. Press and hold the Power button until a screen appears with Airplane Mode option
2. Tap Airplane Mode to toggle it to ON, as shown in the screen below
